The purpose of Aquaponics SA is: To promote the wellbeing and represent the interest of the Aquaponics Industry in Southern Africa for the benefit of Association Members.

 

The Members of Aquaponics SA are passionate about Aquaponics and believe that Aquaponics has a role to play in healthy eating, food security and job creation.  Many of the members run commercial or semi-commercial Aquaponics Facilities and wish to have our products recognised as being healthy to eat, free of nasty pesticides and superbly tasty.  Specifically, we are working to see Aquaponics produce labelled and sold in a manner that distinguishes our products as being from Aquaponics  Systems only, and that they are certified to have been produced in accordance with strict parameters that ensure the healthiness of these products.

 

Furthermore, the members of The Aquaponics Association of Southern Africa, operate in a spirit of mutual cooperation, hosting Open Days that other Members can attend and learn from each other.  Principles learned and other forms of valuable information are shared via the Members Zone section of the website.  We invite you to Join The Aquaponics Association of Southern Africa.
